Chronic Care Policy Alliance
The Chronic Care Policy Alliance is a network of state and regional health care advocacy organizations advancing public policy that improves the lives of those living with chronic conditions and diseases.
EACH PIC Coalition is dedicated to advocating for patient-first drug affordability policies and ensuring patient needs are prioritized in healthcare policy. It empowers patients and caregivers to participate in shaping policies through education and advocates against measures that may compromise patient access to medications.
The California Right Care Initiative focuses its efforts to share clinically proven best practices to all California medical, pharmacy and quality improvement directors — regardless of delivery system — to benefit as many patients as possible.
The COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Equity Project aims to engage with a broad set of stakeholders including diverse populations most impacted by COVID-19, provide clear information, invite discussion and underscore the processes already in place to maintain scientific rigor, to build confidence and the public’s trust across all groups and stakeholders, advocate for diverse COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial populations to ensure that those most affected by the virus will benefit from the vaccine, drive a conversation ensure equitable access to vaccines, information and dialogue.
National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) strives for healthier lives for all through the effective prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. The organization provides news, perspectives, and resources about the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases across the lifespan.
Patients rely on copay assistance to afford their medications. However, health insurers and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) are using the assistance to reduce their own costs while placing an extreme financial burden on patients, often forcing them to forgo the treatment they need. All Copays Count is a coalition of community-based organizations, patient advocacy groups and healthcare providers concerned about the devastating impact the use of copay accumulators has on the most vulnerable patients, including underinsured individuals and patients with chronic conditions who rely on multiple medications to manage their illness. All CCCC actively participates at both the state and national level coalitions.
California Rare Disease Access Coalition strives to make quality care more accessible for every Californian impacted by rare diseases, empowering individuals and families to live healthier, fuller lives. By breaking down barriers, amplifying patient voices, and working for smarter policies, we aim to create a future where no one is left behind simply because their condition is rare.
The Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease (PFCD) is an organization of patients, providers, community organizations, business and labor groups, and health policy experts committed to raising awareness of the number one cause of death, disability, and rising health care costs: chronic disease. The organization goal is to educate the public about chronic disease and potential solutions, mobilize Americans to call for change and challenge policymakers on healthy policy changes that are necessary to effectively fight chronic disease.
